The first 7 star hotel to be built in Europe. A project conceived by Mr. Niels K. Thygesen, the leading property developer in Scandinavia for the last 35 years.
Bahía Fenicia has selected as location for the project the town of La Herradura, in one of the most idyllic spots of the region of Andalusia, with an unique tropical microclimate and where the sun shines over 320 days a year.
In addition to being located in a privileged coastal environment, the resort offers its customers the opportunity to enjoy some of the most iconic places of Spain, which are located within 10 minutes by helicopter: The Alhambra of Granada, which is the most visited monument in the country with some 2,3 million yearly visitors described by Bill Clinton as “the most beautiful sunset in the world” and the Sierra Nevada ski resort, home of the 1996 Alpine World Ski Championships, the 2013 Freestyle Ski & Snowboard World Cup Superfinals and the upcoming Freestyle Ski & Snowboard World Championship in 2017.
